2021 Municipal Leadership Institute
The League’s Municipal Leadership Institute (MLI) is presented every fall and features the top legal and administrative authorities on municipal government in Alabama. This year’s Institute focuses on Building a Strong Community and Workforce Through Education. Panel discussions include: Preparing Students to be Active, Energized Citizens; Workforce Development for a Better Future and Building a Workforce in Your Community with Skills on Wheels. MLI also provides additional sessions dedicated to the American Rescue Plan emphasizing how to leverage rescue dollars for your community and understanding reporting and compliance requirements. Guest: $75 Guest is restricted to persons who are not municipal or public officials, are not affiliated with any exhibitors and have no professional reason to attend MLI.

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, the Alabama League of Municipalities (the League) in-person events constitutes an agreement by the registrant to abide by the League’s and the host property's efforts to comply with current CDC recommendations (and any state of Alabama requirements) and to engage in certain health-and-safety-beneficial conduct while attending the event as requested by the League (wearing a mask, engaging in appropriate physical distancing, not attending the event if feeling sick or showing certain symptoms).
Please note: Any cancellation(s) on or before October 20th will be charged a $25 cancellation fee. Any cancellation(s) after October 20th will be subject to a 50% fee of $147.50.
